John Rovnak

Education Experience: 2006 Graduate of Lowellville Local High School, 2010 B.S.B.A. from Youngstown State University

Work Experience: Prior to entering the Seminary I was the Service Administrator for Simon Roofing & Sheet Metal Corporation of Youngstown, OH.

Favorite Saint(s): St. Martin of Tours – for his kind and gentle spirit and selfless acts of mercy to the poor, oppressed and imprisoned.

Hobbies/Interests: In my free time I enjoy reading, talking with friends and family as well as playing some video games.

Family Background: I am the youngest of 4 children to my parents Tom and Janice Rovnak. My siblings are Tommy (Melissa), Robert and Christine (Nick). I also have 7 awesome nephews and nieces.

What led you to consider the priesthood: 6th Grade was when I initially considered the call of the Priesthood. It was not until I had graduated college that I had begun to seriously consider and pray about what God wanted, and not what I wanted.

Favorite thing about Seminary Life: The comradery between all of the seminarians is by far my favorite part of Seminary life.

Advice for guys considering Priesthood: Take time in the silence to listen to what God has planned for you.
